Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas begins Singapore deployment

Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas arrived in Singapore on 29 October, marking the vessel’s debut in Asia and the beginning of a year-long deployment from the city-state.
The ship will operate from Singapore through October 2027, offering itineraries to destinations across Southeast and East Asia. Its programme includes shorter regional cruises as well as extended voyages connecting Singapore with ports in Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The deployment introduces a year-round operating schedule for Navigator of the Seas in the region, with Singapore serving as its homeport.
Shorter itineraries of two to five nights will include destinations such as Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand. The cruise line will also offer a 10-night voyage covering Thailand and Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, alongside an overnight stay in Bangkok.
Longer 12-night itineraries between Singapore and Tokyo will feature destinations across Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan, extending the vessel’s operations beyond Southeast Asia.
Ben Bouldin, President of Greater China and Managing Director Asia at Royal Caribbean, said the arrival of Navigator of the Seas would provide passengers with greater flexibility to explore Asian destinations through a combination of shorter cruises and longer regional journeys.
Royal Caribbean outlines wider Asia-Pacific deployment
The Singapore programme forms part of Royal Caribbean’s broader Asia-Pacific deployment plans for 2027–2028, involving several vessels operating from regional homeports.
Following the completion of Navigator of the Seas’ Singapore season, Quantum of the Seas is scheduled to begin operating from the city-state in October 2027.
Meanwhile, Voyager of the Seas will operate sailings from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo between January and April 2028. During the same period, Ovation of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will offer cruises departing from Brisbane and Sydney in Australia.
Onboard Navigator of the Seas, passengers will have access to a range of dining, entertainment and recreational facilities, including waterslides, family attractions and speciality restaurants.
Royal Caribbean is part of Royal Caribbean Group and operates cruises across international destinations through its fleet of passenger vessels.
