Peninsula's bunker tanker programme advances as Jiangmen Hangtong completes the fourth 7,700 DWT vessel under Schulte Marine Concept supervision.

Chinese shipbuilder Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding, part of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering, has completed the delivery ceremony for a 7,700 DWT bunker tanker constructed for Peninsula’s fleet expansion programme.

The vessel, identified by hull number HTJ23212, is the fourth in a series of ten tankers ordered for the marine fuel supplier. Its construction was supervised by Schulte Marine Concept (SMC), which confirmed the delivery milestone at the Chinese shipyard.

The newbuilding has been constructed to the requirements of the Portuguese flag and is classed by Lloyd’s Register. Its completion represents another step in the ongoing delivery programme for Peninsula’s bunker tanker fleet.

The vessel forms part of a broader investment in modern bunkering tonnage intended to support Peninsula’s marine fuel supply operations. The series is designed to strengthen the company’s fleet capacity as it continues developing its international bunkering activities.

With the fourth vessel reaching the delivery stage, the shipbuilding programme continues to progress toward completion of the ten-vessel series.
