Global Ports Holding signs 30-year concession for St. Vincent Cruise Port

Global Ports Holding (GPH) has signed a 30-year concession agreement to develop and operate St. Vincent Cruise Port in Kingstown, the capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The agreement was signed on 26 October 2026, according to an official regulatory disclosure issued by its parent company, Global Yatırım Holding, through Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on 27 October.

The signing follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) announced on 11 June 2026, which established exclusive negotiations concerning the development and operation of the cruise port. The new agreement formalises the 30-year concession following the conclusion of those negotiations.

Under the concession, GPH plans to implement a phased investment programme covering the modernisation of existing port infrastructure, the expansion of berthing capacity to accommodate larger cruise vessels and improvements to passenger facilities.

The company expects to commence operations at St. Vincent Cruise Port during the first quarter of 2027, subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent under the concession agreement.

Located in Kingstown, the country’s capital and main port, St. Vincent Cruise Port serves a destination in the southeastern Caribbean, close to established cruise markets including Barbados, Saint Lucia and Grenada.

According to Global Yatırım Holding, the port is expected to welcome more than 250,000 cruise passengers during the 2026/27 cruise season. The company also identified further growth potential, citing GPH’s operational experience and relationships with cruise lines.
