GEODIS secures new logistics partnerships with SIRO and Vodafone in Ireland

GEODIS has secured new logistics partnerships with telecommunications companies SIRO and Vodafone in Ireland, expanding its customer portfolio in the country’s communications infrastructure sector.
Under the agreements announced on 4 November 2026, the logistics provider will manage warehousing and distribution activities for equipment used in broadband and mobile network infrastructure. The arrangements are intended to support the continued development of telecommunications networks across Ireland by providing storage and distribution services for essential materials.
The new partnerships strengthen GEODIS’ involvement in telecommunications logistics, a sector where network expansion requires the coordination of equipment deliveries between suppliers, storage facilities and installation operations.
Dublin facility to support fibre network rollout
For SIRO, GEODIS will manage the receipt, storage and distribution of materials through its multi-client logistics facility in Dublin. The arrangement will support the continuing deployment of fibre broadband infrastructure serving residential and commercial customers throughout Ireland.
SIRO is a joint venture between Irish energy company ESB and Vodafone. Its activities focus on the development of fibre broadband infrastructure, with network expansion requiring a coordinated supply of materials to support installation activities.
The Dublin facility will serve as a logistics base for equipment entering SIRO’s supply chain, with GEODIS responsible for organising its storage and onward distribution.
The agreement with Vodafone also covers logistics support for telecommunications network equipment, extending GEODIS’ customer relationships within the Irish market.
The announcement does not specify the financial value or duration of the agreements, nor does it provide separate operational volumes for the two partnerships.
The contracts expand GEODIS’ role in supporting telecommunications infrastructure projects through contract logistics services, with the company providing the physical distribution capabilities required for network development.
