Equinor extends contracts for two Havila Shipping offshore vessels
Havila Shipping ASA has announced that Equinor Energy AS has exercised one-year contract extension options for two platform supply vessels (PSVs), Havila Charisma and Havila Foresight.
Following the exercise of the options, Havila Charisma will remain under contract until 16 December 2027, while Havila Foresight has secured employment until 1 January 2028.
The extensions confirm the continuation of the vessels’ existing contractual arrangements with Equinor, rather than the award of new contracts.
Extended employment for offshore support vessels
Both vessels operate in the platform supply vessel segment, providing logistical support for offshore activities.
The exercise of the options extends the contracted employment of the two vessels by an additional year, providing greater visibility over their future deployment.
The announcement did not disclose the financial terms of the extensions, including the applicable day rates or total contract values.
The latest development reinforces the existing commercial relationship between Havila Shipping and Equinor Energy, with both vessels now contracted beyond their previously scheduled expiry dates.
