Eidesvik completes sale of subsea vessel Viking Reach

Eidesvik Reach AS has completed the sale of the inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) vessel Viking Reach, with the vessel delivered to its new owners on 26 October 2026.
The completion follows a Memorandum of Agreement announced on 4 August 2026, when Eidesvik Reach entered into an agreement to sell the vessel to an undisclosed buyer. At that time, the transaction was expected to close in early fourth-quarter 2026, subject to customary conditions.
Eidesvik Reach AS is a joint venture in which Eidesvik Offshore ASA holds a 50.1% ownership interest, while Reach Subsea ASA owns the remaining 49.9%.
Transaction follows August agreement
When the sale agreement was announced in August, Eidesvik Offshore indicated that the transaction was expected to generate a gain of approximately NOK 80 million. That figure represented the company’s expectation at the time rather than a final reported accounting result.
The original announcement also linked the sale to Eidesvik’s strategy of renewing and upgrading its vessel portfolio.
The latest stock exchange disclosure confirms that the transaction has been completed and the vessel transferred to its new owners. It does not provide an updated financial result or identify the buyer.
The completion was disclosed by Eidesvik Offshore ASA on 26 October 2026 in accordance with the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
