China Merchants Nanjing Tanker Corporation has completed the acquisition of the entire equity interest in Nanjing Yangtze Oil Transportation Logistics Co., Ltd., following the registration of the share transfer with the relevant Chinese authorities.

The transaction, valued at RMB683.69 million, was carried out in cash through the acquisition of a 100% stake held by Nanjing Oil Transportation Co., Ltd. The company said the investment is intended to consolidate its liquid cargo transportation assets and strengthen the integration of its shipping and logistics activities.

The acquisition had previously received approval from the company’s board of directors and shareholders. The original transaction was disclosed on 28 August 2026, with the equity transfer agreement subsequently signed on 12 October.

According to the latest regulatory announcement, the business registration procedures were completed on 30 October 2026. As a result, Nanjing Yangtze Oil Transportation Logistics has become a wholly owned subsidiary of China Merchants Nanjing Tanker and will be included in its consolidated financial statements.

The completion also brings an end to the management agreement signed between China Merchants Nanjing Tanker and Nanjing Oil Transportation in July 2025, under which the logistics company had previously been managed.

The acquisition forms part of the company’s efforts to consolidate its liquid cargo assets, reinforce its core transportation business and develop a more integrated service structure.

The announcement confirms the completion of the ownership transfer but does not disclose additional operational changes or new investment commitments associated with the transaction.
