Havila Shipping secures long-term North Sea contracts for two supply vessels

Havila Shipping ASA has secured new contracts with Neo Next + Energy E&P UK Limited for two platform supply vessels (PSVs), Havila Fanø and Havila Herøy.
Both agreements have a firm duration of three years, extending the vessels’ employment until September 2029.
The contracts also include three annual extension options for each vessel, potentially extending their employment beyond the initial firm period.
Vessels to continue North Sea operations
The new agreements will commence immediately after the vessels’ existing spot contracts, allowing both PSVs to continue operating without a contractual gap.
The vessels will remain deployed in the UK sector of the North Sea, supporting offshore energy operations.
According to Havila Shipping, the agreements have been concluded on market terms.
The company did not disclose the financial value of the contracts.
Long-term employment secured through 2029
The agreements provide Havila Shipping with longer-term contractual coverage for both vessels, replacing their existing spot employment with firm multi-year commitments.
The three annual extension options offer the possibility of continued operations beyond September 2029, although their exercise has not been confirmed.
The contracts represent an extension of Havila Shipping’s commercial activity in the UK offshore energy market.
