Emirates Courier Express expands international delivery partnerships from Dubai

Emirates Courier Express is expanding its role in cross-border e-commerce logistics through partnerships with Dubai-based businesses, connecting retailers and fulfilment providers to international markets using Emirates SkyCargo’s air transport network.

The door-to-door delivery service, launched by Emirates SkyCargo, is working with activewear retailer Squatwolf, supply chain platform Mayple Global and eyewear company Magrabi Optical. The partnerships cover international parcel deliveries, technology integration and regional distribution across markets including Europe, Australia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

In an announcement on October 14, Emirates outlined how the service is being used by businesses with different distribution requirements, from direct-to-consumer retail shipments to fulfilment operations serving multiple international markets.

Emirates Courier Express supports cross-border retail deliveries

Dubai-based activewear company Squatwolf is using Emirates Courier Express to support deliveries to customers across the GCC, Europe and Australia.

Founded in 2016, Squatwolf has expanded its international operations while managing growing expectations around delivery times and shipment visibility. Its partnership with Emirates Courier Express provides access to the airline’s flight network and frequent regional connections.

According to Squatwolf, the arrangement has reduced customer complaints concerning shipping and transit times, particularly in GCC markets. The company did not disclose specific delivery-time improvements or complaint reduction figures.

Jeethan George, Head of Operations at Squatwolf, said improved delivery speed, reliability and shipment visibility had helped the company manage its international customer experience.

Magrabi Optical is also using the service for cross-border deliveries of premium eyewear products within the GCC. The retailer relies on Emirates’ regional air connections, including same-day flight connections, to move products to stores and customers.

Habib Afzal, Group Logistics Head for the MENA region at Magrabi Optical, identified Emirates SkyCargo as the company’s principal logistics partner for transporting its specialised eyewear products across regional markets.

Technology integration connects fulfilment and customer support

A separate partnership with Mayple Global focuses on international e-commerce fulfilment and the integration of shipment information with customer service systems.

Mayple operates a Dubai fulfilment hub that allows brands to position inventory in the emirate before receiving customer orders. The platform connects directly with Shopify, enabling orders to move from online stores into Mayple’s fulfilment operation.

The arrangement is particularly relevant to North American brands seeking to serve customers in Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East from a shared inventory pool.

Emirates Courier Express provides international delivery services from the Dubai hub, while Mayple manages inventory, order fulfilment and customer support.

The two companies have also integrated their technology systems to connect shipment tracking information with customer service case data. According to Mayple, this allows support teams to investigate delivery enquiries, coordinate responses and resolve shipment-related issues more efficiently.

Ammar Moiz, Founder and CEO of Mayple Global, said the partnership enables brands to combine centralised inventory management with international delivery operations without establishing separate supply chains in every destination market.

Emirates SkyCargo develops its international courier network

The partnerships illustrate the different operating models supported by Emirates Courier Express, ranging from direct retail deliveries to integrated fulfilment services for international e-commerce businesses.

Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President, Cargo Commercial Development at Emirates, said the service combines the airline’s international network with shipment visibility and customer support capabilities.

The company is positioning its courier operation around the requirements of businesses seeking to manage cross-border deliveries through a single service provider.

While Emirates highlighted improvements in delivery performance and customer service across its partnerships, the announcement did not provide shipment volumes, revenue figures or quantified delivery-time comparisons.

The service continues to use Emirates’ existing air transport network to connect Dubai-based businesses with customers in international markets.
