CMB.TECH shareholders approve new distribution

CMB.TECH NV has secured shareholder approval for a distribution of $0.64 per share following a Special General Meeting, confirming the proposal initially announced on August 27, 2026.

The approved distribution consists of an interim dividend of $0.21 per share and a further $0.43 per share to be paid from the company’s available share premium reserve.

The interim dividend is subject to a 30% withholding tax unless an exemption or reduced rate applies. The remaining $0.43 per share distribution is exempt from withholding tax.

CMB.TECH confirms distribution payment dates

The company has established different ex-dividend dates for shareholders trading through Euronext Brussels, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Euronext Oslo Børs.

The record date is October 16, 2026, across all three exchanges.

CMB.TECH explained that the different ex-dividend dates reflect settlement arrangements across the exchanges.

NYSE operates on a T+1 settlement basis, while Euronext Brussels and Euronext Oslo Børs use T+2 settlement.

For shares registered in Norway’s VPS settlement system, payment is expected around October 27 due to the implementation of the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR).

Additional shareholder distribution approved

During the meeting, shareholders also approved a separate proposal allowing a distribution of between $50 million and $250 million from the company’s available share premium.

All other resolutions submitted by CMB.TECH’s Supervisory Board were also approved.

The announcement did not specify the final amount or payment timetable for the additional distribution.
