Hapag-Lloyd reshapes Intra-Asia feeder network

The carrier will discontinue its China Philippines Feeder service and revise the Taichung Express rotation, introducing new arrangements for Philippine cargo connections.
Hapag-Lloyd has announced changes to its Intra-Asia feeder network, including the discontinuation of its China Philippines Feeder (CPF) service and a revised port rotation for the Taichung Express (TWX).
The restructuring will change how the carrier serves the Philippines and maintains connections with Nansha, China, with the final CPF sailings scheduled between late November and December 2026.
Following the discontinuation, Hapag-Lloyd plans to maintain cargo connections to and from the Philippines through third-party feeder services rather than its existing CPF operation.

China Philippines Feeder service to be discontinued
The final scheduled CPF sailings will be operated by Hazira Express, under voyages 645S and 649N.
The carrier has identified 22 November 2026 as the final scheduled departure from Nansha, followed by Singapore on 1 December and Subic Bay in the Philippines on 10 December.
Hapag-Lloyd has not identified the third-party feeder operators that will provide replacement connections or disclosed the detailed arrangements for those services.
The change therefore represents a restructuring of the carrier’s Philippine feeder coverage rather than a complete withdrawal of its cargo connections to the country.
Taichung Express adds Nansha call
To maintain coverage at Nansha, Hapag-Lloyd will revise the port rotation of its Taichung Express service.
The updated rotation will connect Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Taichung and Nansha before returning to Tanjung Pelepas.
The changes will take effect with Little Concert voyage 648S, with scheduled departures from Kaohsiung on 23 November, Taichung on 25 November and Nansha on 29 November 2026.
The revised service will maintain a direct feeder connection between Nansha and the other ports on the TWX rotation.
Hapag-Lloyd has advised customers to review updated sailing schedules and available connections when planning shipments affected by the changes.
The announcement does not provide revised transit times, service frequency, vessel capacity or details of potential terminal changes associated with the restructuring.
