ID Logistics appoints Laurent Jayr to lead real estate subsidiary
Laurent Jayr, Managing Director, Financière ID

ID Logistics has appointed Laurent Jayr as Managing Director of Financière ID, its subsidiary responsible for developing logistics real estate projects in France and international markets.

Jayr succeeds Christophe Hamon, who is scheduled to step down at the end of 2026 after 15 years leading the business. The appointment places Jayr in charge of the subsidiary’s real estate strategy, including warehouse development, construction projects and property investment structures.

Financière ID supports the expansion of ID Logistics by developing turnkey logistics facilities. Its responsibilities extend from land identification and acquisition to construction, building delivery and the subsequent transfer of completed properties to real estate investors.

New leadership for logistics property development

In his new position, Jayr will oversee the planning and execution of logistics real estate projects, including administrative approvals, regulatory procedures, construction management, financial arrangements and leasing solutions.

The appointment follows a period of development under Hamon’s leadership. Over the past 15 years, Financière ID has developed nearly 1.5 million square metres of logistics property across 34 projects, primarily in Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands.

Jayr brings nearly 25 years of international experience in industrial and logistics real estate, covering property development, land acquisition, construction, commercialisation and asset management.

His professional experience includes positions at GSE, Abertis Parques Logísticos/Saba, VGP and Panattoni, with activities spanning European markets, Latin America and North Africa. Since 2020, he had served as Head of Development Iberia and Latam at Panattoni.

A graduate of Sciences Po Toulouse, Jayr also holds an MBA from ESC Pau / ICADE Madrid.

Transition at Financière ID

Eric Hémar, Chairman of ID Logistics Group, welcomed the appointment and acknowledged Hamon’s contribution to the subsidiary’s development.

“I am very pleased to welcome Laurent to the Group. His international experience and in-depth knowledge of the various areas of logistics real estate will be valuable assets in continuing the development of Financière ID and supporting ID Logistics’ growth,” said Hémar.

Hamon also expressed support for the leadership transition, highlighting Jayr’s experience in international logistics property markets.

“His background, expertise in logistics real estate and knowledge of numerous international markets make him ideally qualified to continue and further develop this mission in support of the Group,” said Christophe Hamon, Managing Director of Financière ID.

The appointment comes as Financière ID continues to support ID Logistics’ property development activities, with Jayr taking responsibility for the subsidiary’s future projects and real estate strategy.
