Freightos has signed an agreement with cargo airline mas to integrate the carrier’s widebody freighter capacity into its digital booking platform, expanding access to air cargo services connecting North America and Latin America.

The partnership will allow freight forwarders to search for and book available capacity on mas’s dedicated freighter network through Freightos, alongside integrated payment options designed to simplify cargo transactions.

The planned rollout will initially target freight forwarders operating through Los Angeles and gateways across Mexico, providing access to main-deck cargo capacity serving destinations throughout Latin America.

## Digital bookings to support air cargo operations

Under the agreement, mas will make its freighter capacity available through the Freightos platform, enabling forwarders to complete electronic bookings without relying on traditional manual quotation and reservation processes.

The integration will also incorporate Freightos Pay, the company’s digital payment solution, allowing customers to manage booking and payment activities within the same workflow.

According to Freightos, the combined system is intended to reduce administrative delays and provide greater flexibility in securing cargo capacity.

The payment functionality is also designed to address working capital constraints faced by freight forwarders, particularly when booking main-deck space that may otherwise require upfront settlement or bank guarantees.

The companies expect the solution to simplify access to available freighter capacity while supporting more efficient commercial transactions.

## Partnership targets North American and Latin American trade lanes

The agreement will extend the digital distribution of mas’s dedicated freighter services, connecting the airline with freight forwarders using the Freightos platform.

The initial focus on Los Angeles and Mexico reflects the importance of these gateways for cargo movements between North America and Latin America.

For mas, the partnership is intended to broaden access to its existing network and provide customers with additional digital booking and payment options.

The collaboration also reflects the wider adoption of digital distribution tools in the air cargo industry, where airlines and freight forwarders are increasingly seeking to reduce manual processes and improve transaction efficiency.

However, the companies have not announced a specific launch date for the integration.

The agreement does not involve the addition of new aircraft or the introduction of new flight services. Instead, it is designed to improve the commercial accessibility of mas’s existing freighter capacity.

Once implemented, the integration is expected to provide freight forwarders with a more streamlined process for securing air cargo space and completing associated payments.
