Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy has taken delivery of *Carlotta Cosulich*, the latest addition to its fleet expansion programme, at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard in China. The vessel is the third in a series of four sister bunker tankers designed to support conventional bunkering operations and future marine fuel requirements.

The 8,585 DWT IMO Type II tanker follows the deliveries of *Anna Cosulich* and *Lucia Cosulich*, bringing the company closer to completing its four-vessel newbuilding programme. The delivery was officially announced on 28 October 2026, with *Carlotta Cosulich* now undergoing final preparations before entering service.

The vessel features MarineLINE cargo tank coating, designed to support the handling of different cargoes, alongside Single Point Mooring (SPM) capability and a five-tonne crane. These specifications provide additional flexibility for bunkering operations and fuel handling requirements.

Its methanol-ready designation reflects the vessel’s design for future fuel requirements. However, the company has not stated in its delivery announcement that *Carlotta Cosulich* is currently operating on methanol as a propulsion fuel.

The newbuilding forms part of Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy’s investment in expanding its marine fuel supply capabilities. The company’s activities include bunker trading, physical fuel supply, shipowning and vessel management, serving shipping customers across several international markets.

With three of the four sister vessels now delivered, the programme is approaching completion. Fratelli Cosulich has not specified a date for *Carlotta Cosulich* to begin commercial operations in its latest announcement.

The company confirmed that the vessel will undergo its remaining preparations before commencing service, marking another stage in the development of its bunkering fleet.
